1. Estudantes Beach– Lagos

2. Camilo Beach – Lagos

3. Benagil Cave - Lagoa

This cave is famous for having a hole or chimney in the ceiling through which the sunrays enter in the middle of the day. The reason is simple: in recent years, the cave has been visited by dozens of visitors daily, making it difficult to photograph. Nevertheless, it remains in the first three places because the beauty of this location fascinates everyone who sees it for the first time. 4. Marinha Beach – Lagoa

The photo was taken from the top of the cliffs at Marinha beach, and if you want to shoot an image like this, you must locate the proper angle with your camera. This beach has been named one of the hundred best beaches in the world for its natural beauty. Before going down the steps, take a walk on the cliffs around the beach and then venture down the steep descent. You will see that the descent is worth every second when you reach the sandy beach. 5. Algar Seco – Carvoeiro

Algar Seco is located in a very picturesque village in the Algarve, where every corner can serve as a background for your photos. Before heading to Algar Seco, we recommend you get to know Carvoeiro and its beach on the edge of the village. In the fifth most beautiful place in the Algarve, you can walk on its flat rocks, observe the natural pools created by the tides and finally visit "A Boneca", a cave from which you can observe the sea through two windows created naturally by erosion and wind.

6. Ponta da Piedade – Lagos

It is the sixth most Instagrammable place in the Algarve that we suggest, and due to its beauty and proximity to Baía da Luz, you should not miss the opportunity to explore it. We can say it is one of the paradises on earth by the sea. From here, you can see massive golden rock formations jutting out of the turquoise sea. Ponta da Piedade can be visited by land or sea, but if you want to take photos, you should start this tour by land, preferably at the end of the day. Climb down the 128 stone steps until you reach the boats boarding area, and there, let your imagination run wild and enjoy the colours of the "golden hour". 7. Ferragudo – Lagoa

This village offers many beautiful places to take more photos for Instagram. It is a fishing village facing the Arade river and has Portimão as its neighbouring town. Once you arrive in Ferragudo, you should visit Angrinha beach, which is easily accessible and has free parking. The beauty of this small beach lies in the castle of São João do Arade, which is now privately owned and cannot be visited, but from the outside it preserves the traces of times gone by and invites many photographers to practise their art. Another place not to be missed is a street next to the church in Ferragudo. What is so special about this street? A large bougainvillea that contrasts with the white walls of the traditional village houses.
